Students in Ms. Nelken's art class at Keene Middle School have been recording their experiences during the COVID pandemic through cartoons. All the art was created by students in their homes while receiving online instruction, using their own art supplies. The art shows both the challenges of staying at home, online schooling, and being separated from friends; and students' ability to thrive during these times through exercise, cooking, art, finding humor in the small things, and a lot of time with the family pets.
