Monday, December 9  Day 5

Today for lunch is Baked Chicken Tenders and mashed potatoes
Strings Club is rehearsing today from 2:45 - 4:00 pm

Today is a VIOLIN 1 sectional day:
7th grade - period 1
8th grade - period 2
6th grade - period 8

There are no band sectionals today. There is no beginner band practice today. Check in with Mrs. Hahs if you would like to meet another day this week after school.

Jazz Band rehearses tonight from 6:30-8:00. Remember to arrive at 6:20 so we can start at 6:30. All Jazz Band members must place their Hollis-Brookline vote on Google Classroom before tonight's rehearsal!

Attention Showchoir: Rehearsal is Tuesday until 4:00. Please bring your music.

Dungeons and Dragons will meet after school today at 2:45 in the IMC.  Students should wait to be picked up in the bus room.

Remember to turn in yearbook orders to your homeroom teacher! The next yearbook club meeting will be Thursday, December 12th.  

Are you interested in helping others in your community be healthy and safe? Do you like media and making videos? Then consider attending the Youth Empowerment Training Conference on Thursday, January 16th.  See Mr. Folsom in the guidance office for more information. This is not a school sponsored event.

The OCAC Nature Club will be meeting after school TODAY. Participants can come to the library and wait for the club to start there. Please wear winter boots so that we can go outside.

Attention all KMS students!  The VERY important Informational Meeting for actors interested in auditioning for Annie is TODAY at 2:30 in the Chorus Room. You will be able to take the late bus home! Students interested in helping out as a techie do NOT need to attend this meeting.

This week is Computer Science Education Week! Come learn about Computer Science and try an Hour of Code after school TODAY in the IMC/PC Lab from 2:30 - 3:15!   On Tuesday come invent, code, and create with Makey Makey and on Wednesday come learn to program a robotic Sphero ball. All are welcome - No experience necessary! See Ms. Rafferty or Ms. Stacey with any questions.

Student Council will be showing the movie Elf this Friday in the cafeteria from 5:00-7:00. Attendees are asked to bring in items to benefit the 100 Nights Shelter instead of money. If you are interested in attending your participation slip needs to be returned by Wednesday. See the green flyer you received from your homeroom teacher for more information.
