Special announcement from Student Council :

Did you know Plastic pollution can now be found on every beach in the world, from busy tourist beaches to uninhabited, tropical islands? We would like to do something about this. Starting tomorrow a wrapper recycling box will be located in the cafeteria. Instead of trashing your chip bags and candy wrappers, please put them in this box. This is part of the “trick or trash” program which allows us to recycle plastics that we would be unable to otherwise. Items not allowed include food, cardboard, paper, water bottles, or other items that can be recycled elsewhere. Items that work are chip bags, candy wrappers, granola bar wrappers, snack bags and other small plastics. Thank you for your time and don’t forget: when we work together small actions have big impacts.
