Today for lunch is Chicken Breast Patty and glazed carrots

Students working with Adam Arnone to create a performance for the peace day assembly will meet TODAY after school until 4. See Ms. Stacey if you have questions.

If you missed the Jazz Band informational meeting, see Mrs. Hahs for information this week! Tryouts will be next Monday and Tuesday after school.

Students who signed up for the beginning band program will meet in the band room after school TODAY. If you do not yet have an instrument, we will take care of it at the meeting! You will be able to take the late bus home.

Attention all 8th graders: All magazine orders and money are due to Mr. Paone in room 2404 by tomorrow. No late orders can be accepted. If you have any questions or need additional order forms, please see Mr. Paone.

The Keene International Festival is coming up on September 21 at the Keene Recreation Center from 11-2. This event is a collaboration of Sau 29 educators and civic leaders of Keene to celebrate the cultural diversity in our region. It is a family-friendly and free event. All are welcome - hope to see you there.

Peace and Justice Club members can come to the IMC on Thursday after school to practice and edit their poem for the peace assembly.

7th Grade beginner violin and viola lessons start today. If you signed up for this group at the end of last year, please meet Ms. Young in the music hallway right after school today for your first lesson.

Club sign-ups will be happening next week in the IMC. 6th-grade students will have time to come to the IMC during homeroom on Monday the 16th. There will be time for 7th and 8th graders to sign up for clubs on Tuesday the 17th before school and immediately after school. This year's clubs include Art Club, Mathcounts, Outdoor OCAC club, Dungeons and Dragons, Twirling Club, Yearbook Club, Peace and Justice Club, Jazz Band, and Strings Club. Monthly clubs include STEM Fun Fridays and a Board Games Day in the IMC.

There will be woodworking Club again this year. If you are interested please sign up. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 24th in Mr. Sherwood's Tech Ed room.

Students who are interested in finishing the Bulletin Board in the lobby can come to the IMC Thursday and Friday, after school until 3:30 PM.

Attention all students interested in dancing for the Peace Day assembly. If you missed yesterday's rehearsal, you may still join. Please come on Thurs. after school at 2:30 in the chorus room. You can dance and do your sport! Come for as long as you can!!!
